As many of you know, Thank You Pen has been on the market for a little over a year now; giving everyone an opportunity to create and send gorgeous, high-quality cards with messages written by a real pen. It’s been pretty well received, but we have bigger plans.

That’s why, in January of this year, we began a complete and total reboot of this app. We’re re-creating the look… from cover to cover. We understand that, for it being such a personal experience, sending a card can be a bit of a bore. We’re changing that by creating an app that’s fun to open, look at, and share with others time after time. Immediately, you’ll find that our new look is consistent, clean, bright, and fun! From the moment you tap on the icon and open it up… you’ll want to touch every single button and aspect. Don’t worry, you’re not alone… we created it and still can’t stop looking at it.

We’re also adding some new features:

First off, we’re creating our own cards! That means that we’ll now have unique cards for each and every major holiday! Not only that, but all of our cards are printed on a high-quality paper, and pressed to add texture and personality. Holiday, love, birthday, thank you, or condolence… you’ll always be able to find a card that fits your needs. This also means consistent prices!

Ok, so it may be obvious by now that we’re excited about creating our own cards (and for good reason!), but we also understand that sometimes, you’re going to want more personalization. We don’t blame you! So, soon, everyone will be able to snap a photo, or choose one that they already have on their phones, and have it printed on the front of the card! After all, a picture is worth a thousand words.

We’re also in the infant stages of creating versions of Thank You Pen for other platforms and devices! We love the iPhone, but we want everyone to be able to send cards to their business partners, friends, and loved ones. Keep an eye on this space for more information about upcoming releases!

And now, with the release of Apple’s newest operating system, IOS 5.1, we’re adding Twitter AND Facebook connectivity. That means that you’ll be able to connect with your friends on Facebook and Twitter, along with all your contacts that are stored on your phone… making it easier and faster to send a card. They only need to have their address on their profile, and you’re ready to go!

Gift cards. We’ve already got them, and we’re excited about giving everyone the option to send them with their cards. Target, L.L. Bean, Walmart, Starbucks, and more… we’re making your job easier one step at a time.
